This is a loan that is forgiven and turned into a grant if certain requirements are met for the expense of the funds. It is meant to retain and bring back employees to the business and use the grant for payroll. It also pays rent and utilities to some extent. You apply for this program at any of the local banks. Northwestern Energy is offering grants for small businesses that need help covering energy and gas bills due to the COVID-19 Shutdown.
To help businesses through the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Thryv Foundation will provide grants through its 2020 Small Business COVID-19 Program.
Low-Interest Loan Programs
SBA Disaster Recover Loan:
This tool can be used to get a loan for operations and debt restructuring. It comes with a deferment of six months of payment and can be up to two million dollars. The term is 3.5% up to 20 years Collateral requirements have been waived. Here is more information:
Anaconda Local Development Emergency Loan Fund
Finally, the Anaconda Local Development Corporation is offering 2% loans with a six-month payment deferment up to $10,000 for operations and payroll if the other programs are not an option for you.

Businesses must be directly affected by the COVID-19 shutdown.
Businesses must show the ability to make the debt service at normal cash flows.
Collateral requirements on the loans are waived we can take second liens on property or equipment.
Up to $10,000.00 for operations and payroll only.Up to a 3 Year Term, no early repayment penalties.
0% Interest for 6 Months, 2% after that. The first payment can be deferred for the first six months, but the 2% interest will start at 6 months with or without deferment.
3 – 5 Business days from application to disbursement.
We know that a loan is always a scary endeavor but we are hoping that in pinch these funds can get you through to stimulus funds or more normal market time.

Anaconda Local Development has commissioned a Feasibility/Master Plan and is writing a business plan in support of the development of a high end RV P adjacent to the Old Works Golf course.
It is ALDC’s goal to increase the accommodations options Anaconda visitors in order to increase the play at Old works and other area golf courses. We hope to give a boost to the tourism industry and general by offering visitors opportunities to stay longer in the area.
It is visioned that re-mediated Superfund properties will be given a new purpose and add to Anaconda’s economy.
Bud Surle and Associates will begin their work by mid January. the feasibility/Master Plan is funded with a Big Sky Development Grant with the cooperation and support of Headwaters RC & D Area Inc. and Deer Lodge County.
