The Anaconda Local Development Center (DBA Discover Anaconda) and its partner companies and participating community colleges are committed to protecting your privacy online. The purpose of this statement is to inform you of our privacy policy in the collection of personal information that we may collect from you and how it is used by the ALDC, our partner companies, and participating community colleges.
Information we collect
The ALDC web site only collects personal information that is provided to us when you complete online forms including contact us, more information requests, email sign-ups, when purchasing products or services, or when registering for various events and/or interactive web site features.
Occasionally, visitors to our web site may be asked to complete a survey for research purposes. In such a case, your information may be used to help us improve our web site or for the initiative’s marketing and promotional purposes. Please be assured that your information will be treated confidentially.
When you comment on a blog post on the ALDC web site you should be aware that any information you share is visible to other users. Personally identifiable information you submit to one of these posts can be read, collected, or used by other individuals to send you unsolicited messages. The ALDC is not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Sharing personal information
The ALDC does rent or sell personal or financial information and strictly adheres to all state and federal laws pertaining to privacy of records. We may however, share your name and email address with partner companies or participating community colleges should you sign-up for email updates for the sole purpose of education or employment recruitment.
The ALDC will disclose personal information for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, where disclosure is necessary.
Email Opt-Out
ALDC uses “Safe Unsubscribe” allowing users to unsubscribe from email communications. Simply select Safe Unsubscribe when you receive an email communication from ALDC.
Use of Cookies and Web Beacons
ALDC may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies in combination with your personal information to enhance your experience including use of community and interactive features.

Other information
The ALDC web server collects Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for system administration purposes, to track system usage, or for security purposes. These IP addresses are kept in a log file and are a normal part of the web server. An IP address only identifies a computer or, in the case of pooled IP addresses, one among a group of computers. Personal information is not available from an IP address. Additionally, this information would not be distributed or shared with a third party unless directed by court order.
